Farewell to year 2006...告别2006年

Today is my last day of work in year 2006. I'll go back to KL tomorrow and be back again to SG on 3rd January, 2007. I remembered I did the same thing last year, wrote a few lines about my life and hoping that the coming year will give me good luck and prosper. Another year is almost gone, well...I didn't really achieve anything yet...what about you??

Christmas Celebration in office on 22nd Dec 2006.

Not entitle for 13th month Bonus....

SIGHHHHhhhh...What a grief!! I was not entitled for the 13th month bonus this year because I started to work in my present company 5 days late...

There's a clause where it stated the following:-
Pro-rated payment may be given to all confirmed staff who has worked for less than a year but more than 3 months in the company as at the cut-off date. i.e. 1 December.

WHAT??? I got my confirmation on the 6th December, 2006...I didn't get even a single cent.

My vacation to Perth scheduled around March - GONE
My gym membership sign-up for 6 months - GONE
Extra allowances for my parents - GONE
Pamper myself with new hairsyle for the coming year - GONE
Good mood to welcome year 2007 - TOTALLY GONE!!!

Visitation to Singapore Botanic Garden...

I took an evening walk at Singapore Botanic Garden last Saturday. Reached the place around 6pm, the sky was grey...no sunlight and the weather was rather cold after 2 days of heavy rain. It's indeed a nice place to walk and gather around with family members or friends...The place is covered with colourful flowers, different kind of trees...

My lovely Christmas presents...

My colleagues in the same department had arranged a small Christmas celebration last Friday before we all went for a long weekend. There were 8 of us, we contributed some snacks, tit-bits, beer, nuts, fruits, cakes...I received some presents from my colleagues. We had the craziest photo shooting as one of my colleague is into photography. Photos will be posted up later...

Visitation to Chloe's full month...

I went to Connie in-law's house for Chloe's full month celebration yesterday...I reached there around 5:30pm as it was raining very heavily the whole afternoon. Upon my first look on her angel face, she has inherited with her mum's beautiful eyes and her dad's tall nose...(These two parts are very significant. A genuine product from Connie and Keng Yong) Wishing both of you all the best and be a great parents...

Eragon....Not that great afterall...

I watched this "ERAGON" last night at SHAW cinema, Choa Chu Kang in Lot1 shopping centre. Well, when I saw the preview of this show, I had great expectation towards it...so I 'die die' will watch this movie no matter what...

As usual, the first quarter of the movie is always the intro part...plain and sometimes boring a little...normally, I mean normally for other movies, you'll start to open your eyes and mind a little bit more coz the movie gets more exciting...and generally, the last part of the movie is the climax and that you are fully awake.

Hmm, sad to say...I only manage to wake myself at the last part, hahaha!!! So, it's not really a good choice.

Count Down Year 2007...

I am feeling blue these few days, no energy to do anything...felt like taking a long break and hide myself in a place where no one knows me...Year 2006 is reaching its end, whatever passed is past. Try not to look back neither look forward, my mind is fading away...Now is the moment that reminds me of the emptyness and loneliness deep inside my heart.

今天的心情有点低落。。。脑子里反复想着好多东西，虽然跟我一点关系也没有，但无可否认，它的确缭乱了我的思绪！也许这就所谓Bee常对我说的‘生理周期’吧！哈哈，我的开场白是乎跟我所设定的标题毫无关系噢！

嗯，其实我也很想知道答案。到了我这个年纪，‘不急’的话是自我安慰，‘急’的话是人之常情。如果我真的错过了，那就随风而去吧。。。如果他还没出现，我会继续等。。。要等多久呢？下次再告诉你。。。哈!

Long Bar...06122006 (Old Folks Day..haha)

Me and my other 3 gal's colleagues decided to go for a Ladies Nite session few weeks back...so yesterday 4 of us dressed up nicely. Right after 6pm, 4 of us were so busy putting on our make up...well, I did help another colleague coz she is not keen in make up, haha! We took photos, with our mobile phones...(Sigh, no one bring digital camera that nite...) Anyway, it was fun during the 1 hour preparation. We reached City Hall MRT station ard 8:00pm...trying to look for food before heading to drink at Long Bar...Finally we ended up at MOS Burger at the basement of Raffles City. After finished our light dinner, we went to Long Bar...it was abt 845pm (Still consider Happy Hour!) We ordered 1 jug of Strawberry Margaritta...it was so nice!! (Gals, u'll definitely love it) The sad thing was...we didn't see any cute guys but many of the 60-70 yr old Auntie & Uncle...(Bet they are tourist...) but they are good in dancing though..Anyway, it didn't meet some of my colleague's expectation, haha!

Raining Season...

When it comes to end of year...raining season starts!Well, the weather is somehow changed and turned slightly cooler especially when you sit in an air-conditioned room and raining outside!I love it when I am at home, covered under my blanket and have a good sleep, hee!That's when I can enjoy the FOC air-conditioning weather too!On the other hand,it makes me lazy to go out or even having the mood of doing things...

She is married...

I went back to KL again last weekend...the only reason of going back was to attend my good sister's wedding dinner. It was held on Sunday, 26/11/2006 at Golden Sun Seafood Restaurant. Well, I met up with some of my ex-classmates during secondary school, we sat on the same table. Catched up with each other, took photos for remembrance and spent a great moment together. I wish her(Soo Yee) all the best in her marriage life and we'll always be there for you whenever you needed us...

Trip back to KL on 18/11/2006-19/11/2006

I went back to KL last weekend...main purpose was to celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday with my family and relatives.It was a rush trip though...but a meaningful one indeed.During the first nite, we had home made steamboat for dinner...As you can see, there's the Tom Yam based & the clear soup based.

On Sunday evening, my family and relatives gathered around in a restaurant and celebrated my grandma's birthday.We had a wonderful dinner with nice food. One of my uncle prepared a slide show of my grandma's past birthday celebrations and all the gatherings that we had...
